Transportation of Goods Successfully pursued numerous six-figure claims for damaged, destroyed and lost freight shipments against interstate motor carriers and bimodal (ocean and rail) carriers; cost-effectively defended multimillion dollar undercharged claims asserted by bankrupt interstate motor carriers, which negotiated lower freight rates with major shippers and failed to file tariffs; drafted and negotiated multiple transportation and logistics services contracts for both shippers and carriers.

Warranties, Limitations of Liability and Remedy Primary responsibility within Kodak for drafting warranties, limitations of liability and remedy (U.C.C. Construction Regularly advised Kodak marketing management in monitoring contractor performance, negotiating claims for "extras," and resolving construction contract litigation.

Business Contracts Drafted and negotiated numerous sale, rental, lease, service and related contracts with Kodak and other clients in a variety of industries.

Marketing and Distribution 20 years’ experience in creating, establishing and implementing marketing and distribution plans in conjunction with major new product introductions for three of Kodak’s largest divisions.

Professional Affiliations and Activities Since graduating from Yale College and Cornell Law School, Mr. Romeyn has been admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, the Supreme Court of the United States, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. District Courts in New York and California. In June 1995, he was admitted to practice in the State of California. Mr. Romeyn has served as a Commercial Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, and as a court-appointed arbitrator. He also is trained as a mediator.
